The CABRINHA CROSSWING X3 is a high-performance wing designed for wing surfing and freeride. It represents the third iteration of Cabrinha’s Crosswing series, focusing on enhanced efficiency and on-demand power. A key feature is its exceptionally stiff framework, achieved through an increased leading edge diameter with a load-distributing center section and an innovative double strut design. This rigidity provides improved performance in both light and strong winds, offering better pumping efficiency in lighter conditions and increased stability and control in higher winds.
The CABRINHA CROSSWING X3 incorporates new ergonomic widespan handles for precise micro adjustments and trim. It boasts an improved low-end performance, enhanced balance, more linear power delivery, and better upwind drive. The ultra-rigid flared double strut further supports the airfoil and improves responsiveness. A new radial canopy layout contributes to improved response and overall stiffness. Strategic window placements, combined with the double strut, offer a wide field of view. Construction highlights include high-tenacity Dacron for the leading edge, a sprint inflate valve, Nano Tech ripstop material, Kevlar wing tip reinforcements, and harness line attachment points. A safety wrist leash is also included.
