The CORE XC Wing is a wing foiling wing designed to offer intuitive power control for all levels and styles of riding. It aims to strike a balance between power, speed, and maneuverability through its moderate aspect ratio profile, which is also tuned to minimize stalls.
Key characteristics include its ability to provide instant forward drive thanks to a twist allowance in the center strut and tips, aiming for a balance between drive and agility. The wing utilizes ExoTex2 material in the leading edge and center strut for stiffness and flex, while the CoreTex2 canopy material is low-stretch and durable, contributing to smooth and linear power development. Optimal cloth tension and minimal drag are intended to provide maximum power for quick take-offs and precise control in flight.
The CORE XC Wing features firm, ergonomic handles that are extra wide for comfortable use across various riding styles, offering a direct feel of power control. It’s designed to perform well in various conditions, from high-speed foiling to freestyle maneuvers and wave riding. The wing incorporates a higher angle-of-attack in the tips compared to the center strut, creating a twist for stability and agile turning. It also features two speed valves for faster deflation and comes with the option to use either a wrist or waist leash.
