The RRD GOLD WING Y27 is a high-performance, pro-model wing designed for wing foiling. It’s constructed using ALUULA® fabric for the leading edge and strut, making it significantly lighter and stiffer (around 30% compared to traditional materials). This results in earlier take-offs, greater speed, and higher jumps.
Key features include a central power zone for enhanced control and stability, an arched leading edge for a compact shape and explosive response, and a double inflate/deflate valve system for quicker setup and increased stiffness. The canopy utilizes a 45° diamond grid to reduce long-term fabric stretch and maintain performance over time. It also features three long handles on the central strut for easier maneuverability and wide windows for better visibility.
The RRD GOLD WING Y27 excels in various disciplines, including racing, wave riding, and freestyle, and is particularly noted for its performance in lighter wind conditions.
