The RRD Wind Wing W Y27 is a premium wind wing designed for wing foiling, catering to a range of riders from beginners to advanced. It’s engineered to provide a stable, powerful, and controllable experience on the water.
Key features include a central power zone that concentrates power in the strut area for enhanced boost and control, reducing unwanted pressure on the wingtips. The arched leading edge design contributes to a compact shape and improved performance. It comes in an extensive range of sizes from 2.8m to 7.2m to suit various rider needs and wind conditions.
The RRD Wind Wing W Y27 incorporates a double inflating/deflating valve system, allowing the leading edge and strut to be inflated separately, achieving a stiffer overall wing and quicker deflation. Its 45° diamond canopy utilizes two layers of 2D ripstop fabric oriented at 45 degrees to minimize long-term fabric stretch and maintain performance. For maneuverability, it features three long handles on the central strut. Wide windows are included for greater visibility. The wing comes with a new light safety leash with a neoprene wrist band and is delivered in a padded and functional backpack.
