The SHINN ESCALATOR 2022 is a wing foil wing designed for a compact and maneuverable feel. Its low aspect ratio keeps the center of effort close to the rider’s hands, enhancing maneuverability through a reduced wingspan.
A key feature is its reflexed wingtip, which automatically tensions the canopy, eliminating the need for battens or struts to control the trailing edge. This design leverages the natural tensioning properties of the leading edge.
The SHINN ESCALATOR 2022 generates significant low-end power, allowing riders to use a smaller wing than they might typically choose. This makes it ideal for both freestyle and jumping, as well as light wind cruising where larger sizes don’t feel cumbersome in terms of handling.
It boasts a long-short-long handle configuration with three handles, where the central one is smaller and the rear one is elongated. This setup allows riders to find their perfect hand positions, and the central handle includes attachment points for a harness line, enabling one-handed flying.
